Brunswick Planning Board Approves Marijuana Extraction Facility

Cannabis Legalization

Lucky 777 Lab received approval from the Brunswick Planning Board to move forward with its marijuana extraction business. The conditional use permit says that the business will be more like a doctor’s office-type setting. To start, the extraction company will have 5 job openings.

The grow for Lucky 777 Lab is in Auburn, according to The Portland Press Herald. In the beginning, the company expects to serve between 12 and 15 patients. Delivery service will also be offered at a frequency of twice daily.

Owner Peter Bouchard said, “Given the aging population of Brunswick, I believe the cannabis business will bring younger workers who have a keen interest in this industry. Between our Auburn location and the Brunswick facility, we can offer a younger demographic the opportunity to learn both sides of the cannabis industry. Brunswick should get these workers possibly living in the town.”
